MTC MainStage

Since 1987, Music Theatre of Connecticut’s professional Equity acting company, MTC MainStage, has been bringing critically-acclaimed live theatre to Fairfield County. MTC MainStage features Broadway performers and has a reputation for top quality as well as innovation. MTC MainStage productions are presented in its beautifully designed 108-seat black box theatre on the Westport/Norwalk border––a space that provides the most unique and intimate professional theatrical experience in Connecticut. Audiences no longer need to go to New York to see Broadway talent! MTC MainStage is committed to the resurgence of “homegrown professional theatre” in Fairfield County where audiences see first-class Broadway performers “up close and personal” on the MTC MainStage Studio Theatre stage.

MTC’s School of Performing Arts

Music Theatre of Connecticut’s School of Performing Arts is proud to train over 300 students/year and produces two to three full-scale live musicals! MTC students have presented more than 200 productions. Alumni of MTC’s College-Bound in the Performing Arts program have graduated or are currently pursuing performing arts degrees in top-tier programs; others can be seen on Broadway, in regional theatres throughout the country, on television and in feature films.
