About MTC MainStage
Since 1987, Music Theatre of Connecticut’s professional Equity acting company, MTC MainStage, has been bringing critically-acclaimed theatre to Fairfield County. MTC MainStage features Broadway performers and has a reputation for top quality as well as innovation. Past productions include Yours, Anne (Connecticut Critics’ Circle Award Nominee), A Little Night Music, Baby, Babes in Toyland and Prime Time Prophet (at MTC prior to a successful Off-Broadway run). In 2008, MTC MainStage’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play won a prestigious Moss Hart Award in the professional division from the New England Theatre Conference. MTC MainStage productions are presented in its beautifully designed 108-seat black box theatre on the Westport/Norwalk border––a space that provides the most unique and intimate professional theatrical experience in Connecticut. Audiences no longer need to go to New York to see Broadway talent!
