About
Hailed by The New York Times as a Critic’s Pick and called “impossible to forget,” Harmony tells the remarkable true story of the Comedian Harmonists, six young men who rose from singing in the subway tunnels of Berlin to becoming one of the most popular musical acts of the 1920s and 1930s. With dazzling harmonies and comedic charm, they sell millions of records and perform on the world’s biggest stages, but as Nazi power rises in Germany, the group faces growing discrimination and impossible choices that threaten their music and their future. Featuring an original score by Barry Manilow with book and lyrics by Bruce Sussman, Harmony is a powerful and moving musical about friendship, love, and the enduring power of music.

He’s also a composer/lyricist, amateur software designer, secular Buddhist, and avoider of TikTok.
