About
This devastatingly funny one act follows a day in the life of Sam Peliczowski, an out-of-work actor who mans the red-hot reservation line at Manhattan’s number-one restaurant. Coercion, threats, bribes, histrionics—a cast of desperate callers will stop at nothing in their zeal to land a prime reservation, or the right table. Amid the barrage, Sam’s got his own needs to contend with—his recently widowed dad wants him home for Christmas, and he’s up for a choice part at Lincoln Center. While juggling scheming socialites, name-dropping wannabes, fickle celebrities and egomaniacal bosses, can he manage to look out for himself?

Who’s Who
MATT DENSKY (Sam)
is ecstatic to be a part of bringing the magic of live theatre BACK and is thrilled to be performing at Music Theatre of Connecticut once more. He has previously appeared here in The 39 Steps, End of the Rainbow, and The SantaLand Diaries, a role he also performed with Virginia Stage Company. He is currently on hiatus from the Broadway National Tour of WICKED, where he understudies the role of Boq. In NYC, Matt went on for Young Max in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! at Madison Square Garden and originated Sky in Kris Kringle - the Musical at Town Hall, appearing on the original cast recordings of both shows. His other favorite credits include regional productions of The Little Mermaid (Scuttle), Rock of Ages (Franz), and The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff), as well as appearing in the recently released film, Still Waiting in the Wings. Matt is a native of Monroe, CT and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music. He would like to thank Kevin and Jimmy for bringing him back, Gotham Talent Agency and The Cooper Company, his parents, and his brand new husband, Chris!

He has directed over 100 MTC Equity MainStage productions including Next to Normal, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill, Cabaret, Little Shop of Horrors, Evita, Doubt, Master Class, Gypsy, (all Connecticut Critics’ Circle Award Nominations/Winners), and It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, (Moss Hart Award Winner). BroadwayWorld Award Winner as Best Director for MTC’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Connecticut Critics’ Circle Best Director winner for MTC’s Ragtime, and recipient of the Tom Killen Award for Outstanding Contribution to Connecticut Professional Theatre. As a composer he has penned the score for numerous musicals including It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play and A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play (both published by Playscripts, Inc.), and served on the faculties of The Hartt School of Music/University of Hartford, Sacred Heart University, the University of Bridgeport and Musical Theatre Works in NYC. www.kevin-connors.com
