New for Spring 2016/2017: Theatre Playground

This class allows young actors to take their first steps into performing in a low-pressure, safe environment that will empower them to continue using their voices and bodies to communicate from center stage. Using children’s stories ranging from familiar fairy tales to modern day youth literature, your child will learn the basics of presenting for an audience, improvising, and acting in character. A fun acting class tailored to young school-aged children where kids will work on classroom skills such as following directions, listening, and working with others in a fun and creative way, and share an informally staged piece with families and friends on the last day of class. No pre-requisite or placement is required for this course.
