ReleaseMTC Presents "You're
a Good Man, Charlie Brown"
Music Theatre
of Connecticut will present "You're a Good
Man, Charlie Brown" on Saturday and Sunday,
December 10 and 11. Performances are on Saturday
at 1 and 4 p.m., and Sunday at 3 p.m., at Theatre
Artists Workshop, 5 Gregory Blvd., East Norwalk.
The musical features the Peanuts
gang with songs and comedy sketches. A fully staged
and costumed production performed by MTC students,
ages seven and up, the cast includes Will Haskell
of Westport as Charlie Brown; Max Freedman of Westport
as Linus; Chloe Perlen of Westport as Iris; Sarah
Lew of Southport as Peppermint Patty; and Bobby
Eddy of Weston as Pigpen.
The musical is based on characters
created by Charles M. Schultz. Book, music, and
lyrics are by Clark Gesner.
Tickets are $12 for student; $15
for adults.
Founded in 1987, Music Theatre
of Connecticut, based in Westport, is a Certified
Member of the National Guild of Community Schools
of the Arts---the first theatre school in the country
to be accepted as a member.
